What two people can book.

Some of these are one therapist moving between you. Some are two therapists, one each, at the same hour. The difference is the price, and we have written both.

The grid above names the formats. It cannot tell you which of them is yours, and for a couple that decision comes in two halves: what you book, and how many pairs of hands book it.

Take the second half first, because it changes the meaning of everything above it. One therapist working with a couple moves between you, and part of the hour is spent watching rather than being worked on. Two therapists, one each, run the hour in parallel: you start together, you finish together, and neither of you is the audience. On a card the two arrangements look almost identical. In a room they are not alike at all. It is also the only choice on this page that moves the total, since one therapist is EUR 180 an hour however many of you there are and two is EUR 360.

What the wetter formats ask of a room

Nuru and soapy are the two that want more than a bed. Both involve warmth, water and somewhere to rinse afterwards, and both go better in a hotel bathroom than in a fourth-floor flat with a shower the size of a phone box. Mention the room when you ask about either and we will tell you honestly whether it suits. Body-to-body is the wider family those two belong to and asks nothing particular of the space. Erotic oil asks only for towels, which is why it tends to be the easiest first booking for two people who have not done this before and are not yet sure which of them is the more nervous.

The evenings that are not massage

Sitting on the same menu are formats measured in evenings rather than techniques: dinner, a night out where the two of you are three, an overnight that runs eight hours, a companion for something one of you would otherwise attend alone. Couples ask for these more often than the shape of the grid suggests.

If the choosing stalls, book ninety minutes rather than an hour and leave the detail to be settled in the room. Sixty minutes is short for two people, and the extra half hour is where the deciding would have happened anyway.
