Courtney, and how she works.

Most of her work happens in apartments off the Apollolaan, high ceilings and neighbours who are never home. That sort of space ends up filled with something a good deal warmer than it started out with, and she does not appear to be trying. Beside another therapist she is the improviser: she will change the plan mid-hour if the room asks for it, and she is good at signalling the change without a word. Growing up American left her one language, and it has never yet been a problem for anyone. The overnight is the booking she speaks about with most warmth, and she takes them often.

She works outcall only — your hotel room, your serviced apartment, your own flat. Twenty to thirty minutes across the centre once the booking is settled, at any hour. Schiphol airport hotels are by arrangement.
