02 Who arrives

Nadia, and how she works.

Nothing about her is hurried, including the way she comes into a room, coat off and attention already on the two of you. The long quiet streets behind the museums are about the right setting for her, and she has Ukrainian and English for whoever turns up in them. Four-hand work suits her because it removes the need to decide alone: she and the second therapist settle the shape of the hour between them in the first minute, and then neither of them talks. Overnight bookings are where she is at her best, when the evening has somewhere to go.

She works outcall only — your hotel room, your serviced apartment, your own flat. Twenty to thirty minutes across the centre once the booking is settled, at any hour. Schiphol airport hotels are by arrangement.
